Welcoming another division!
San Antonio Railroad Heritage Museum announces, "We are excited to announce the formation of yet another division!!!  We are pleased to announce the launching of the Floresville Heritage &  Railroad Museum!  We are presently working with the City of Floresville and the folks with the El Camino Trail to bring something new to Floresville!  Part of the plan involves utilizing the old SA&AP depot as a multipurpose site with our new museum division inside!
This is just the next step within the bigger SARHM plan! "

NATIONAL TRAIL DAY
At the National Trail Day event in Floresville June 7th, those present explored the old SA&AP depot building. Andrew Zbrzeski  snapped interior photos of the baggage room.

NATIONAL TRAIL DAY
At the National Trail Day event in Floresville on June 7th, the San Antonio Railroad Heritage Museum visited the old 1886 Floresville Depot. Mayor Cantu made the visit posible.

Andrew Zbrzeski snapped several exterior photos of the Floresville Depot.

The San Antonio Railroad Heritage Museum says, " She ( the building) is definitely showing signs of needed maintenance.  Something we're working to soon facilitate!!!"

The SARHM president, Gary Rodriguez, discussed a future proposal that will soon be presented to the Floresville City Council with Mayor Cantu.

Nancy De La Zerda adds, " There are plans being considered about perhaps opening a heritage museum/visitors' center at the very historic site on the Trail."
